Hi James,

As counterintuitive as it may seem, you press the play button to get it to record. You've probably already tried this. I did have some problems in the beginning, but it is now working just fine. I don't remember what I did to make it record
the first time, but it is doing beautifully now.

When you press play, be sure not to hold it down too long, as that will cause it to exit the recording screen rather than start recording.
