This is a response to Will's question with a subject line to match.

You can indeed shuffle music across folders. This is what I do:

1. Go to Playlist Options on the main menu and make sure Recursively
Insert Directories is on.

2. Scroll to your music folder.

3. Go to the file menu; the first choice is Playlist, so select it.

4. Select Insert Shuffled.

That should do the trick.
