Hi Andrea,

File browsing might have gotten switched to tag cache. If you go to
the main menu, choose General, then File View, then show Files, and
make sure it's set to Supported or Music. If you can't get to the
main menu, I'm not sure what's going on. You might do a complete
reset to try to change the settings back to their defaults. On the
iPod you do this by turning Hold on and off during the reset; I don't
know how to do it on other players, but the manual should tell you.
