I get about that on my Nano as well - it seems like I get longer life
when playing MP3's, shorter when playing Ogg.

That said, I'm moving to the Nano from a Rio Karma, which had similar
battery life. However, since I mostly listen to the Nano in the car, and
I have a car charger for the Nano, it doesn't really matter much to me.
