Subject: recording volume on Iaudio?

recording volume on Iaudio?

Is the volume setting in the recording screen actually supposed to increase all volume of the unit? Or is it just supposed to increase volume of the mic? Cause it's actually increasing the volume of everything on the unit. Is it supposed to be that way?
