Believe it or not I am fully working finally!!!! Unbelievable but it is
working perfectly now.

Don't ask what I did for I have no clue. I while at work hooked it up to my
computer at work and when I went into the lang folder saw there was no voice
file in there. Although I know for a fact that it was there the previous
evening. I even removed it and re-added it when it stopped working. Go
figure that.

I thank you and every one else for their help. So much appreciation to all!

Another option is for someone to send you one of their CFG files, and you
can drop it in the root of your iRiver, and up arrow to it when you boot up.

You might name it ZZ.CFG

so it is at the bottom of the root, and then you only need to up arrow once,
and then you enter on it to load the settings.

I have an iRiver H-120, so my CFG file would probably not work in your unit.

Not sure if the last post made it on line.

If I want to edit the config file how do I go about doing that???

Which one would I have to edit if I want to correct the problem of the wrong
language showing up for reading voice menu choices?
