I think that Dominik's point is that there the original post
is inaccurate. Rockbox does NOT have the ability to change
playback speed by 2% without affecting pitch. ANY change to
playback speed affects pitch. The reason the "2%
limitation" referred to in the original post should not be
discussed is because it doesn't exist.
