Trust me. I have a file in \.rockbox\ called fixed.cfg with one line:
volume: -25
No matter how many times i shut down the player and boot it up, the volume
doesn't automatically change to this value (i.e. if I shut it down with a
volume of 20 dB, it will remain there as opposed to going to -25 dB). Do i
perhaps have to load fixed.cfg first via the Manage Settings menu?
