battery capacity for iriver h340

Hi,

Could someone explain what would happen if changes were made to the battery
capacity settings in Rockbox for the Iriver H340? Could this contribute to
appearance of the battery becoming flat very quickly? Also could someone
give me the correct settings of the original battery fitted with this model.
