Good. I forgot that it turned itself off.

That would probably mean that the Rockbox bootloader is working, but it
doesn't find rockbox.iaudio on the disk.

It would be helpful if you could catch the error message somehow...

Please make sure that rockbox.iaudio is in the E:\.rockbox folder.
