Should be - when I took apart my H140 it was an MK4004GAH (40Gb) drive which
is from the same series as the 60Gb you mentioned. The interface is a small
IDE interface so you need a converter if you want to hook it up to a PC, but
it is an IDE interface.

Subject: Found a possible hard drive for my iriver H340

Hi all,

As many of you may know, the old hard drive in my iriver H340 died. So, I
have been researching prices for a new hard drive for my H340. I found the
following hard drive: a Toshiba MK6006GAH (60 GB) hard drive. This is one
of the compatible drives listed on MisticRiver. However I am not entirely
sure whether the drive's "connector" is compatible with the H340. Its
"interface" is listed as: IDE, DMA/ATA-100 (Ultra).

I'm not a "hard drive techy." Will this drive work? Fast help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Grant
