RBUtil should, when complete, handle all steps including bootloader
patching that do not require the user to press buttons on the device.
When complete the user should simply run RBUtil, possibly after having
downloaded the original .hex files for the H100 and H300 series, and
then run it. Then boot their player, and do whatever's necessary on the
player's screen to finish the installation.

The whole point of RBUtil is to NOT require any other programs to be
run, ever. I think this is the point you're missing: When it's done,
NONE of the other programs should have a use.
