  Get a car adapter. The battery life on the iPod video with Rockbox is terrible; I'm only
  getting about 6 to 7 hours tops on one full charge. Until the code itself is further
  optimized, battery life will be short.

  Actually, in my case, it's stressing the battery out pretty badly. I just purchased a
  higher capacity battery for my iPod (580 mAh versus the stock 400mAh), so I should
  get a fairly good performance boost.

  Uh oh- I'm not really sure if I like the sound of that. Where can I get one of these batteries, and how many more hours would I get? If I can, I'd like to get a car adapter, since I'll be in the vehicle most of the time; the 7 hours would be good when I'm sitting outside on the patio etc etc. Can i get it in any store? or do I have to buy it from apple?
