  Put at least one song on your iPod using iTunes, and start playing it
using the Apple firmware once you're done listening to your audiobook and
before you run Rockbox. Until you leave the audiobook, the Apple firmware
considers it to be "Now playing," and doesn't fully save your place. It does
save it, however, when you start listening to something else.
