Yes they are HE AAC - high bit rate, recorded at 192.

What bitrate were these encoded at? Or, if you can find out, do you know if
the tracks are HE-AAC (sometimes called SBR)? Rockbox could behave like this
if it is HE-AAC, but it isn't properly detected as such (not that proper
detection would fix the pauses...).
