Remember that HE-AAC, when played by a player that doesn't support
HE-AAC, will ignore the SBR and be played as a standard AAC at half the
sample rate. Wouldn't this result, in the case of improper sample rate
handling, in a file that plays double speed?

At least, if my understanding of HE-AAC is correct, that is. I don't
know if our player does this, or if it simply attempts to use the SBR
and runs out of CPU power.
