yes.

it's currently not done the "proper" way. Album art will require the
so-called metadata-on-buffer to get done properly. I'll omit the
technical details here; metadata-on-buffer is a Google Summer of Code
project and it's being worked on.

the general idea is that everything that could be done in advance on
the PC should also be done there. This includes decoding and resizing
images -- for displaying a decoded format is needed, and bmp is an
uncompressed format. The player only has one thing plenty, and that is
disc space.
