I hope you choose not to leave the list. It would be a shame. Let those
who refuse to follow the list etiquette, and consider it rude when
they're reminded of the list etiquette, leave.

I am a blind user of Rockbox, and I read the list etiquette before I
ever posted anything. As a blind user, I prefer top posting, and this is
probably the only list I participate in where top posting is frowned on,
if not even encouraged. It's definitely more inconvenient for me to post
and read posts on this list as opposed to the other lists I'm on, but it
isn't my list, and I know that to participate, I should respect the
wishes of the list owners.

I'm constantly perplexed by those who are so quick to call list
moderators tyrants and small minded or call for "freedom of speech" on
mailing lists. No one is forced to join, and it seems inconsiderate to
me to join someone else's mailing list and then disregard their wishes.
