One further question.
Once everything is set up properly, will the sansa boot in to original firmware automatically when I plug it in to make file transfers, or do I have to manually boot in to the original firmware each time, before I connect it?

This was the case up until yesterday when we released a new sansapatcher version (0.5) which should work properly for everyone, including loading the original firmware.
