I have the same problems but if you after hitting the stop key, pause key
etc and sit maybe 10-20 minutes after the fact, it will stop. It is a bug
but as of today still occurs.

Hi everyone,

 

I brought up the same point a while ago, about the ipod freezing, and
continuing to play, freezing essentially. It had to be reset, but I was not
able to tell you what the screen did, because I am blind. It also did the
same freezing with m4a files, if that is any help.
