X5, but that isn't being sold anymore. Thanks.
I just recently had my X5 stolen, and looking for a new hard drive player to
run Rockbox is hard. There aren't any being made right now. In fact, the
pickins for hard drive players in general are kinda thin, as everybody seems
to have gone flash.
I settled on a Refurb 80GB 5.5g iPod, which you can still get directly from
Apple. iAudio X5's nowhere to be found, and the newer iAudio's are all flash
based anyway. Archos has some nice hard drive based players, but they don't
run rockbox.
Doesn't anybody just want a simple hard drive based music player anymore?
Music players are all small flash devices, and anything with a hard drive
seems aimed at portable video, which I really don't get, but hey, I'm old.
