Making english.voice

Hi All

Blind user with a new E280 with questions about what I need to do to create an english.voice file. Here is the background. I had a 4 gb Nano and July and August I was quite happily making my own voice files using cygwin with no problems. Then the noted problems with that model and the new versions of rockbox started happening to me in terms of crashing so I just used an old stable version. Recently I bought an E280 and have it all up and running with one of Andre's voice files from Nov 24.

I have tried creating voice files using my old routine and as I expected they are creating a voice file but it is not working. So I am wondering what I need to do to my cygwin installation to get things going again. I remember from when I installed it that there were two initial sections one where I had to select lots of different Cygwin options and then a second stage where I selected all the rockbox ones. I take it I need to update one or both of these sections and I would appreciate it if someone could give me some assistance as to what I need to do. I want to create voices using my Australian english real speak voices again at a fast speed.

I managed to adjust the new voicebox plus script to accommodate this and would like to get a constant voice across my E280.

Cheers in advance

Hamish
