HI all,

I have finally updated my rockbox. I'm trying out a build from Jan. 20, and I'm using Andre's latest voice for the X5. Everything seems to be working great with Rockbox itself! Cheers to all who have been working so hard on this!
the issue I'm having is with the VoiceBox+. I ran the script and I created the new clips. I also made sure the correct options were selected in the 'general settings/voice' options.
but they're not being spoken. All I'm hearing is the word, "Folder". No matter where I go in my files, I hear, "Folder". The word "folder" is being spoken by Andre's voice.
Am I missing something here? Should I have set my speech in the control panel to a SAPI voice? I didn't think it mattered.

I would really appreciate any help with this! I apologize if I overlooked previous posts regarding this matter. I did check things out in the archives before posting to the list.
