I was the happy owner of a H10-20gb for many months. I had no problems
at all creating play lists.

I never tried speech, so can't comment on that.

I don't know where you can buy one.

The only reason I stopped using my H10 was because I ran out of space
... otherwise I think I'd still be using it now.
