Need assistance with Iriver H10 and Rockbox

I'm a blind person and have the Iriver H10 and Rockbox on it. I was
looking through my menus, yesterday and pressed the select menu on
Language". After that I lost all the speech. Can anyone tell me how
to get the speech back without sighted assistance? If I need to get
someone to help me, will they be able to read the screen, since I've
also turned the display light down, to preserve battery life? I hope
someone can help.
