RE: Rockbox device usually won't mount in Windows XP

I'm using the latest build on an iPod Video 80GB with a Windows XP box.
For the past several weeks (updating regularly), I often haven't been able
to mount the device except by rebooting into the Apple firmware.
Once in a while, it actually works, but I haven't been able to discern
anything consistent about what is different those times.

Sorry forgot about not top-posting. So use to it on other lists..., and I
forgot to say that if I have the player running in rockbox before connecting
it will work.

I do see the following error in Event Viewer:

Event Type: Error

Event ID: 6

The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or

able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
