There's a problem with this: this applies to when "demand" means "profit
for the producers" once production is done. In the case of Rockbox,
"demand" doesn't drive production: People willing to actually do the
necessary work drives production. If there's a lot of interested V2
owners, this is the perfect opportunity for them to pitch in and join
the project. Some progress has been made into investigating the chip,
and a port to these is almost certainly feasible as long as you guys
work on it.
