I'm not Linus of course, but I wanted to let you know that what it is
recognizing, is the make of the hard drive inside the Archos.
The drivers would not even recognize the Archos part of the unit. There is
never a reason for your computer to see the Archos aspect of the drive.
Now you will just copy & paste your music, or whatever, into folders onto
the drive, which can be accessed through "my computer".
