Anyone still using an Archos recorder version 1?

I just installed the latest build after not upgrading in over a year.
I like all the improvements but I'm concerned about the low buffer
level. I only have 1.183MB. The last version I used gave 1.4 or
so....I remember way back when it was like 1.7MB or more.

Is this normal? I'm concerned about battery life. I flash installed
with rockbox.ucl.

Anyone using a recorder v1 care to share what their buffer level is?
