Clearly there's something wrong here: I get a maximum of two hours on
my battery, playing MP3 files on an iPod Video (5G) with Rockbox. The
battery itself is in good shape -- using the original OS, it lasts
well over ten hours. I've installed the current build: Aug 31. Any
thoughts?

(Another minor question: when I hook the iPod up to a Macbook (OS
10.5.4), I can't seem to get the invisible files -- ie. any of the
system files -- to show up on the Mac. I've done the usual things:
initiated a search with "file visibility" set to "invisible items" --
nada.)
