As i don't find the e-mail of the developer and the mailing list (hopefully i
picked the right one) is perhaps better for discussion, i wanted to ask if you
could push the following patch upstream (after the feature freeze).

Or if you have reasons against this, it would also be nice to hear them.

Actually this is my second mail regarding this topic but somehow the ml
