I got mine (and I love it) at buy.com. They refurbs they sell are ver 1.
Doesn't say it on the site, but I know 3 people so far who also bought
one, and they were also ver 1. Not a problem at all with it and it
looked new when I got it. I got a 4gb for 37.00 shipped.
