I switched from OE because of its mangling of emails and messages and am
now using Thunderbird. There is a registry work around for OE that
will make it bottom post by default. I used it for awhile but am still
glad I switched to Thunderbird.

- Exit out of Outlook express
- run "regedit"
- Navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0

GUID is the GUID id of your identity for outlook express (unless you
have multiple identities in outlook express you usually just see one.)

- Goto the Edit menu, and select new and select DWORD value
- For the key name type the following without quotes: "Reply At End"
(There should be spaces between the words)
- Double click on the new "Reply At End" entry you just made and set its
value to 1 (1 = reply at end, 0 = old behavior)

Start up outlook express and it should now be posting content at the
bottom when you reply to emails.
