"a" is the access key for the Add New Task button in FlySpray (the
tracker), which is mapped to alt+a by Internet Explorer. This is why
Firefox maps access keys to alt+shift+key.

A quicker way is to press alt by itself to bring up the menu bar and
then press a. The only difference is that you don't hold down alt.

If it bugs you terribly, you could always use Firefox. <grins> There may
also be a user preference to disable access keys in FlySpray, but I'm
not sure.
