Are the filenames/usage of speex file documented anywhere? The 3.0
version of the manual
still talks about all of the speech files being in MP3 format. Can I
use the same name format for
the files or has that changed?

The wiki page

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/VoiceHowto

only mentions speex in passing at one point and talks about MP3 everywhere else.

Is there a recommended tool to convert mp3 to an appropriate speex format?

Thanks,
Bill Bogstad
