You have successfully installed the bootloader - that is the part which
loads either Apple's firmware or Rockbox. You appear to have not
actually installed Rockbox itself.
Put your iPod into disk mode following the instructions the bootloader's
error message is giving you - and then either use RBUtil to install a
current build, or download the rockbox.zip file from the current builds
page and extract the .zip file onto your iPod manually.
If you extract the .zip file to your iPod the needed folders will be
created and populated automatically.
