I think the first thing to do is not be a dick about it. Publicly
giving someone a telling off for breaking rules is not nice. People
tell you this and that it does not work and your response is to be
harsher and silence anyone who complains. This is supposed to be a
list for the rockbox and rockbox user communities to discuss rockbox.
Being a dick to people then kicking out anybody that complains is not
an acceptable way to interact with a community.

Perhaps you need to start a rockbox-moderated list where you can
enforce whatever rules you like using whatever methods you like and
leave this one to the community and see what happens.
