While shopping online, it's difficult to determine the firmware version (if
you're still talking about the Sansa e2xx series) unless you can ask a
human. This is why I bought my e280 off eBay. The seller confirmed the
firmware version.

Hi,
Thanks. What sandisk players are available commercially if i can't get
ahold of an e280? And when shopping online how do i determine a
firmware version? That's not something that's generally advertized.
