Hi guys

wonder if anyone can help?

I've got an iriver 320 and an older version of rockbox, i've tried to upgrade rockbox to current version, but something's not right with the speech. I am blind and using a screen reader.

I downloaded and ran the utility, but I get an error message. all my screen reader says is configuration error.

on my player though, the speech has returned back to default, or least I think it has as it's not the one I had on it before.

also now hardly any of the menu items are spoken, such as battery level.

can any one help me get out of this mess? or know what I've done wrong.

I've tried to follow the various manuals, but have to admit I'm lost now.
