Ok these are the things I have done so far

1 created file on desktop with build for ipod video 80gb, bootloader, and ipod patch

2 right click and shift same time onto folder from desktop to get into command mode

3 copy and paste line " ipodpatcher -a bootloader-ipodvideo.ipod " into command mode.

4 let it do its thing

5 type exit then hit enter

6 using the same file on desktop, I copy and paste into the drive for the ipod on computer

7 run automatic utility

8 eject ipod

9 I get either black screen with "PANIC Unsupported physical sector 4096", or I get a white screen with a flicker of the ROCKBOX logo page then back to "PANIC Unsupported physical sector 4096"

10 press menu and select at same time, then menu play to get check mark stating ok to disconnect

11 start over again

I can't figure it out! Wish they would commit the build to the build without all the added steps. So many of us long to have this work, but can't figure the install out. Big drag. Not sure what to do, so been leaving the ipod connected to computer. (hope it is ok for both) Who knows when I will be able to figure this out. Hoping someone can help me, and others. Thanks
