Subject: Not giving up on H320

Not giving up on H320

Hi Guys,

I do have a technical question, so bear with me.

I recently tried out Rockbox on my Android phone. I was impressed. Very
impressed. Much better than any other player I've tried on it (none even
got close to RB). However, after trying it for a few days I became
irritated with the less than perfect playback (occasional skips/pauses in
music).

So, I returned to my trusty iRver H320. I decided to replace the battery
and at the same time 'upgrade' the HD.

So anyway, I purcahased a 40-pin IDE to Compact Flash card adaptor. In the
slot I placed a Compact Flash to SD adaptor. Then in there I placed a
16Gig SD card!

It's great, I have a lighter device and no spin-up time. Love it.

Now, my questions:

1. My battery was a direct replacement 1700mAh, RB whows 15 hours when
fully charged but last only about 10. Why is this?

2. I currently have a 16Gig SD card, I intend buying a 32Gig one. This
should work okay but would a 64Gig SD work?

Cheers and thanks for the continued work on the best audio playing
software in existance!

Mat
