according to the docs you should be able to press select while connecting
to allow it to play while connected to usb. this does not work.

I found an e-mail that said, that it was, in fact, the menu key that did this.

pressing menu while connecting usb causes it to panic and lock-up.

is this a bug, or is it a different key ?
