"I have indeed selected the accessory power and line out options in the settings. I can now play music while plugged in to the radio clock! What did it was holding the menu button down as David suggested while I was connecting."

I am using version r29583-110313. I tried that solution for my Ipod Video 60GB which I believe is at the top of the wheel. I even tried holding down the select button in the middle and the menu keys while connecting to either my PC or USB in my car. No luck! I made sure Lineout and accessory power supply was set to yes. What am I missing here?
