Hi,

I just got a used iPod 5.5. When I connect it to my Windows laptop, it
shows up as an unformatted drive, so obviously it uses a different
file system.

When I run the Rockbox utility, it says that I need to convert it to
Winpod. Do I need to install iTunes to convert it? Can I just simply
format the drive to FAT from Windows?
