Hello,

Well, the existing action goes to the database if you came from the
database, so it seems unnecessary.

Hey! I didn't notice that. I would have prefer so individual link but
this suits pretty much usual case actually

Thank to both of you for the answer, this is really clear now.
Regarding touchpad gesture implementation. As Jonathan Gordon said he is
interested, I'm also very enthousiast
I will start as soon I'm done with basic mapping stuff and basic
improvement to have some good touchpad on the fuze+. This shouldn't take
long, I would say a week or so.
If we want to implement gesture we will have to do some prework. I'm not
familiar to programming and rockbox structure. But apart for where to
put the file, and making modifiction to related drivers my biggest
concern are button's signals:
-If we want this to work, then we cannot rely anymore on Rockbox for
applying modifier to the button (REL or REPEAT) for this will be part of
our new generic driver to decide if a press is either short or long or
the beginning of the gesture. In other words a long press signal will
not be a long "short press" anymore for rockbox. What happen for example
if a driver return directly a button signal with a modifier like
BUTTON_LEFT|REPEAT for instance ? I didn't had time to test this yet.

Best regards,

Jean-Louis Biasini
