It can. If you roll your own build, you need to add one line to
config-ondiofm.h or config-ondiosp.h, depending on your Ondio
model:

#define CONFIG_BACKLIGHT BL_PA14_HI

Perhaps we should add that line to cvs, wrapped in an ifdef
similar to the alarm mod?
