Hi!

Currently volume control is completly implemented via the analog
amplifier. Is it planned to additionally support volume control by
manipulating the digital data? Yes, I know, that this would reduce the
dynamic range, that analog control generally gives better quality and
does not need additional computing power.

But for various setups the advantage would be great, if the player is
connect via digital link to an external amplifier.And the quality
penalty should not be audible when this feature is used reasonably.
