Yes, it is possible that all current 80GB drives use 1Kbyte physical
blocks, and then the iriver ATA code needs to be adjusted.

Ah, yes. My bad.

Still, if the 80GB drive behaves like the one in the iPod, it might very
well fail because of the 1Kbyte alignment problem.
