I'm no expert, but try to reboot into disk mode and download the newest rockbox distribution to your player.

When I reboot the iPod, I get following text: "Bad checksumHold MENU + SELECT to reboot then SELECT + PLAYfor disk modePartition 1: 0x0B 3866Loading: Rockbox...Length: 700F4Checksum: 2D3F049Model name: miniLoading rockbox.ipodSum: 2D3F04BError!Can't load rockbox.ipod" Any thoughts on how to solve this?
