until now I don't have a single line of code, I'm just browsing through all informations about Rockbox and especially through the informations about the Sansa E200 port!
 
Is there any technical information available about the Sansa Base Station? Does someone know, where and in which format the commands from the IR remote control are transmitted to the player?

Go for it!
All we ask is that you share your work with us, even if it's a work in
progress.  The best way is to open a new patch task on Flyspray and attach
your latest version whenever you make a breakthrough.  I don't have a Sansa
myself, but there are quite a few hackers here who could help you out if you
do get stuck.
